Give Me That Car!

When I saw this pic it made me sad, partly because my Dad had a classic Mercedes (he's a collector) exactly like this when I was like 13 except it was white and fully restored! I was totally in love with this car, we would ride in it on Sundays to brunch with the windows down, the sun beaming bright and the wind blowing ever so slightly. I lived for those days so it was to my utter dismay that one day I came home and my father informed me that my dream car was gone, HE SOLD HER! He sold the car I was hoping to eventually coax him out of when I graduated high school. When I saw this pic a sense of nostalgia struck, all those warm and familiar feelings came rushing back. I called my father to remind him of my annoyance about his decision to sell my car. He said he could beat himself up for selling it, I muttered "you should"; but thats not the best part he promised me another beauty, a classic mercedes convertible. I am so psyched I cannot wait to get it. I can just picture it now a pair of wayfares a colorful floral chiffon frock blowing in the wind, and not a care in the world. Oh yeah doesnt Leigh look nice? haha I almost forgot she was standing in front of the car for a minute.
Well, I hope everyone is having a great day so far!

Thanks for reading!

  6. Whenever we see an old-model car that we or our family used to have, memories just really come rushing in. It refreshes our childhood memories and how that car was part of our growing-up stage. Oh, the wonders of vintage cars! Did your Dad finally buy you that convertible?
